Roses and Rhubarb Design ‘Studio’.

Ok. A bit of licence here. This is actually a room created at the back of our house from an old garage. My husband had grand plans to move his ‘office’ into this space, however changed his mind, and it’s become a bit of a ‘dumping ground’ for unwanted items of furniture, the ironing pile, etc.

So, this week I began to re-purpose it….and I’ve even given it a rather grandiose title, despite it’s very unfinished state…‘Roses and Rhubarb Design Studio’.

I was up unusually early this morning and crept downstairs for a peak at my handiwork. The smell of orange oil I’d used to clean the table and chairs still lingered…. Sweet scent of dreams and plans.

I’m creating a mood board of how it may eventually look…watch this space!

  1. Hi Annelisa, I bought Wee Shepherd on Ravelry and have run into a problem. I took it to Baa Ram Ewell today and they agree with me, we think there’s an error in the pattern. I hope I can explain it.
It’s in the raglan shaping. Round 1 says
K2, k2tog,know to last 4 sts before marker, ssk, k2, sm

I read this to mean there were 2 knit stitches each side of the decrease .
So I did this the 11 times ( 6-12 month size) until I got down to 98 sts.
Then the problem arose for round 3, where it says
Knitting to marker, sm, k2, k2tog, keep to last 4, ssk k2 sm- I just didn’the have enough stitches left at top of sleeves to do this.
    So I think Round 1 should read k1, k2tog …… ssk, k1.

Baa Ram Ewell still had your sample garment on display, so we looked at that together and that seems to be what you had done.

    So please HELP !

    1. Dear Vivienne
I am so very sorry you have had a problem with this pattern. I did have it professionally edited before publishing, but clearly this has been missed by both myself and the editor.

I will make sure the errors are corrected on the Ravelry version, however here is how the pattern should read:

Raglan Shaping section, Round 3 currently reads: *Knit to marker, sm, k2, k2tog, k to last 4 sts, ssk, k2, sm, rep from * once more

It should read: K2, k2tog, K to last 4 stitches, ssk, k2, sm, knit to marker, sm, rep from * once more. In other words, by the time you have reached round 3 of the raglan shaping you will NOT be decreasing the sleeve stitches any more. Further decreases will be worked in the front and back sections of the jumper only.

I hope this helps. If not please let me know and I will do my best to get back to you quickly.

      Kind Regards
